Pets And The City opened its first shop in the world heritage site of Greenwich, London in 2004. Founder, pet owner and animal lover,  Sally Brazill-Drewett was inspired to open the UK’s first lifestyle shop for cats and dogs after feeling disappointed by the lack of choice of products available at the time.

Her inspiration comes from her creative background and appreciation for contemporary, funky but functional designs ideal for fellow animal lovers. 

Pets And The City stocks designer and crafted goods of the highest quality, many of our ranges are both exclusive and seasonal. Our aim is to promote British craftsmanship wherever possible and  to work and partner companies which share our holistic approach to business. 

We do not endorse pets as accessories and choose all our products with great care ensuring that they are made to the highest standard and with animal welfare being paramount.  

Pets And The City is a dedicated and active supporter of animal charities including The Celia Hammond Animal Trust www.celiahammond.org   We advise anybody wishing to own a pet to support and re-home one of the thousands of unwanted and abandoned animals from one of their local animal charities. However, if you would like a certain breed and have no luck at your rescue centre we advise you contact a reputable breeder who follows a strict code of ethics.
